OK... so we took over the parking on two blocks of the busiest shopping street in La Jolla, CA for the whole day. We checked out every car club in Southern California to get just the right '68 Mustang. No, we didn't have the weather we were looking for. All right, yes, we looked for just the right dog for two weeks. And finally, it all had to happen on one particular day in January no matter what. This project may be one of the most challenging I've ever done. The client had very specific needs for backdrops and architectural style. The images needed to convey the feel of living in a multi-use urban project that JTS was building in Baton Rouge, LA. We needed good weather in January, brick buildings of a certain style as well as street backgrounds that would marry up with the actual project when it was built. After discussing the requirements I felt that La Jolla was the right place for the shoot. RWP produced this project in conjunction with a California production company that I had used several times before. When we finally got to the photography, it went like a dream and most importantly, the client was very happy with the results.
